Texas Weddings’ Fast Five asks local wedding professionals the same five questions to help you get to know some of the people behind the companies. Today’s Fast Five comes from Zac & Kimberly Witte of Witte Idea Photo & Film:
- What services do you provide?
Photography + videography. Cover all types of events/shoots. Family, engagement, graduation, headshots, bridal, and wedding photography. Wedding, event coverage, promotional, and business profile videography.
- What inspired you to start this company?
Our love of creating! We both love creating imagery! We enjoy using our talents to help preserve memories for couples and families on their wedding day, as well as other milestones in their life.
- What sets your company apart from similar ones in the same field?
We are a husband and wife team. We enjoy working with each other and making new vendor friends along the way. We are non-obtrusive on your wedding day and love capturing the real-life moments. We both shoot in a photojournalistic style, so we aim to get more than the average posed shot. We are constantly pushing and helping each other to create or capture the most unforgettable moments for our couples and clients.
- What is your favorite part of your workweek and why?
We really love shooting! Wedding days are always a blast! What’s not to love? Everyone is in a good mood, looking their best, celebrating love, and bringing their A-game to the dance floor!
- What is one favorite client story and why?
Jennifer & Reagan have a sweet love story. Jennifer lost her mom a few years prior to meeting Reagan. She was in a place of mourning and loss, and yet Reagan was able to shine some light back into her life. Reagan truly seemed to balance out Jennifer with his humor and easy-going attitude. They became a perfect balance for each other. About a year before they celebrated their wedding they expanded their family by bringing their daughter into the world. We enjoyed meeting with them a few months before their wedding to capture a “Love Story” interview film. We learned so much about this sweet little family that when we filmed their wedding day we really felt like we were good friends sharing in on their special day. Kim even was tearing up behind the camera during their ceremony! We incorporated their Love Story film into their wedding day highlight film edit. It was a unique project that we really enjoyed putting together.
