As a wedding officiant, I create ceremonies that reflect each couple’s unique relationship, personalities, values, and sense of humor. Whether they envision something traditional, romantic, spiritual, secular, or filled with laughter, the goal is always the same: a ceremony that sounds like them. I also offer wedding coordination packages for couples who have done the planning but want an experienced professional to bring everything together. From ceremony logistics to vendor communication and wedding-day timelines, I help couples enjoy their celebration instead of managing it. Other offerings include elopements, vow renewals, life celebrations, and an audio guestbook rental that preserves guests’ voices and memories.

What inspired you to start this company?

Believe it or not, it started with my love of writing! With a background in English, I have always enjoyed storytelling and finding just the right words to express something meaningful. When I became ordained in 2019, officiating weddings seemed like a wonderful creative outlet. What I discovered was something much bigger. Every couple has a story, and I absolutely love learning what makes their relationship special. Sometimes that story is deeply romantic. Sometimes it is wonderfully funny. Usually, it is a little of both! Over time, I realized that couples also needed someone who understood the practical side of making those meaningful moments happen. That naturally led me into wedding coordination. What began as a creative adventure has become a business built around celebrating love, honoring relationships, and helping couples enjoy one of the most significant days of their lives.

What sets your company apart from similar ones in the same field?

I believe a wedding ceremony should never sound like it could belong to just anybody. One of my signature offerings is the personalized Love Story ceremony. I spend time getting to know each couple, learning how they met, what they love about one another, what makes them laugh, and what has brought them to this moment. Then I weave those details into a ceremony that lets their guests understand their relationship, not just witness their marriage. Another difference is that I approach weddings from both perspectives: the officiant who understands the emotional significance of the ceremony and the coordinator who understands the logistics required to make everything flow. I like to think I bring equal parts storyteller, organizer, problem-solver, and calming influence to the wedding day. And when appropriate, a little humor never hurts!

What is your best planning advice or tip for couples?

Don’t get so caught up in planning the wedding that you forget to plan the marriage ceremony. Couples spend months choosing venues, flowers, clothing, menus, entertainment, and photography. Those details are wonderful, but sometimes the actual ceremony receives surprisingly little attention. I encourage couples to think about what they want their guests to feel and remember when they exchange their vows. Do they want something traditional? Do they want laughter? Would they like to honor family members, incorporate cultural traditions, or share their Love Story? There is no single correct way to get married. My other piece of advice is to hire professionals you genuinely trust. Your wedding day should not be spent answering vendor questions, troubleshooting problems, or worrying about what happens next. You should be busy getting married!

What is your favorite wedding trend right now and why?

My favorite trend is the movement toward weddings that feel more personal and less like a checklist of traditions couples are supposed to follow. I love seeing couples embrace private vows, meaningful family participation, nontraditional ceremony structures, and little details that tell their story. Some couples want a very traditional ceremony, and that’s wonderful. Others want their guests laughing one minute and reaching for tissues the next. That is wonderful, too! I especially love that couples are becoming more comfortable saying, “That tradition just isn’t us.” The ceremony is the perfect place to express who they really are. After all, a beautiful wedding is wonderful. But a wedding that tells your story is unforgettable.

Click Here to learn more about Unforgettable Beginnings by Sabrina!

Sabrina, wedding officiant and owner of Unforgettable Beginnings by Sabrina is undeniably sweet, and she writes beautifully.
