Pesto Ristorante is a contemporary, welcoming, energetic, family and seductive Italian style neighborhood restaurant, with the celebration of owner Executive Chef Alejandro Santoyo’s soul-satisfying Italian cuisine.
Pesto Ristorante has a comfortable ambiance and atmosphere that will make you feel right at home with a choice of charming outdoor sitting, as well as attentive staff. Open from dawn to late night every day of the week, Pesto Ristorante has a variety and selective fine wine list ready to be paired with their scrumptious and cibo meraviglioso.Vieni e Divertiti! Buon appetito!
If you enjoy truly fine Italian cuisine, look no further. Pesto Ristorante's new Olmos Park location on Mccullough is a hidden gem. Chef and owner Alejandro has an established 5-star reputation with culinary aficionados. The Salmon items on their menu are my favorite in San Antonio.
There aren't many chefs in SA who know how to prepare salmon without over-cooking and drying out the fillet. Alejandro has got it mastered! The wine list is evolving and the servers continue to improve.
Whether you are looking for an intimate dinner, a dinner party in their private room or a business lunch to close a deal, this needs to be on your list! Fantastic.
We were a group of more than 20. I had reserved in advance and they were more than prepared for us. Started with warm bread with an olive oil seasoned dip. Very Good. Our meals were brought out in a timely manner despite some of our guests arriving late. Everything was excellent. Our bills were delivered without issue and correct. Highly recommend. Prices were reasonable as well. Will be back.Cathy M.

Amazing. I love the decor. I wanted to lick my plate clean. The server was awesome, she answered all our questions and I am definitely going back.Lisa Helmke
So excited to have Pesto in the neighborhood. Went with the family last night and had a great time. The service, food, and atmosphere were great.
Ren, our server, couldn't have been more welcoming or pleasantly conversational. He was great with our kids and brought some of the tastiest bread and oil very quickly to appease them and delight us, adults!
While there isn't a kids' menu, the menu was accommodating enough. I would suggest that is added at some point. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her meat ravioli. My son enjoyed his penne with butter, thoroughly. My wife and I thought our meals were incredible (albeit slightly too much oil on the veggies). She had the seared tuna and I had the avocado salmon, rare (how I order salmon). While she saved a bite for me, I had taken down every last bite of mine. She was disappointed I didn't save any for her.
We'll definitely be back. I encourage everyone to try this place. Not enough know about it yet!
