St. Pius X is a perfect location for your wedding reception, quinceanara, birthday celebration or corporate meeting. Whether it is a rehearsal dinner for 40 or a wedding reception for 400, we have all the amenities you need and we are centrally located within four miles of the San Antonio International Airport and several hotels.
The Msgr. Martin Family Center is an 8,000-sq-ft facility with maximum occupancy of 500. The main room is 6,000 sq ft with a 22 ft x 34 ft wooden dance floor and 4-section versatile stage with skirting. LED lighting on 20-foot ceilings can be configured to set the mood for your special event.
Your reservation includes setup of 72” round tables, 8-foot banquet tables and chairs in your personal arrangement. Rental also includes use of the prep kitchen complete with a commercial refrigerator and warming oven. There is an ice machine available on-site as well. Two side rooms with a removable partition, each 1,000 sq ft, are available for additional space or for a more intimate setting.
The 1,250-sq-ft foyer has 20-ft high windows and may be used for a social hour, buffet lines, photo booth, or receiving line. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
Your rental period is six hours ending no later than 1 a.m. Additional hours are $100 per hour. Decorating may be done as early as 10 am on the day of the event.
St. Pius X Catholic Church may be used for Catholic ceremonies only. With seating for 600 in an open configuration, everyone on your guest list will be able to witness this special event. There is a bride’s room upstairs for the bridal party to prepare away from the hustle and bustle of arriving guests. Arrangements for Catholic weddings must be made no later than 6 months in advance.
