5 Questions in 5 Minutes: Vintage Villas

Looking for the right Austin wedding venue at the right location with the right amenities? Look no further thanĀ Vintage Villas Hotel & Events. This beautiful Lake Travis wedding venue is stacked with amenities and includes an incredible view.

We recently sat down with Sales Director, Erika Tucker to talk about what makes their wedding venue unique, planning tips and why she loves her job.

What sets your company apart from similar ones in the same field?

The view of Lake Travis as your ceremony backdrop is one of the many reasons why couples are attracted to our venue. The sunset over the lake makes for the perfect bride and groom portraits and it’s a view that your guests will keep reminiscing about long after your wedding day!

What services do you provide?

We provide venue coordination, in house catering and bar services, and on site lodging!

What is your favorite wedding tradition and why?

Our favorite thing to see is a bride and groom first look! It’s such a sweet and special moment that the couple gets to share before the craziness of the rest of the day begins, and its very special for us to look on from afar.

We also love a great speech! Whether its a funny story from the couples past, or a really sweet story about their relationship, its always so fun for us to learn more about the couples in that way.

Why do you love this company and your job?

The location and our property are my favorite parts of coming into work. Seeing the lake fill up throughout the year and watching the wisteria bloom on our Gazebo in the spring gets us so excited. Not to mention that watching the sunset over the lake on wedding nights is breathtaking and never gets old!

What is your best planning advice or tip for couples?

The best advice that we can give to couples is to book your venue first. When you have a venue, you have a date, and when you have a date you can book all of your other vendors.
