Our Story
Despite hailing from opposite ends of the world, Partha and I first matched on Hinge in Austin, TX in December 2021. Partha grew up in India and I grew up in South Texas along the Mexican border. Though our initial match didn’t go anywhere, we reconnected in February 2022. We had our first date soon after and hit it off right away. Bonding over our love for food, travel, and mental health, we were inseparable from the start and even traveled to Mexico within just a month of meeting. Our love grew stronger despite our cultural and personality differences and we knew we wanted to get married in 2023. We got engaged in March 2023 and tied the knot in August 2023. After initial hurdles from his side of the family in India, we had two weddings - an American and an Indian one with the support from both families. We are so excited to begin this new chapter of our lives and for more adventures with our dog, Casper, and our cat, Cheerio.
