Our Story
Concept & Design: This shoot shows how diverse the Texas landscape can be. Usually a look more reserved for somewhere like Washington or Oregon, it showcases that you can have a lush and green treehouse elopement in Texas. Couples Story: I previously worked with Sierra ( the "bride") and always wanted to do a shoot with her. Sierra and Ace have been together for about a year and though their relationship is still fresh, you'd never know it by watching them the day of the shoot. They are so sweet and natural together. They needed such little direction, we really just let them be them and magic was created. You can feel their genuine affection for each other. Location: Cypress Valley (just outside of Austin) The venue features multiple styles of treehouses for glampers to choose from. My inspo for the day was wanting to showcase how diverse Texas can be... and with that, you don't have to go far to get the look you're going for. I wanted to make sure the scenery was really showcased and so I knew I wanted this wedding to be clean, warm, and neutral so that the background would pop. I wanted to be sure to keep the bride enhanced but having her natural beauty show through. I added a few styling details like the boots on the bride and groom and the bridal hat to be a slight nod to Texas without it being overtly country. Overall, I wanted it to be clean and modern but still warm and welcoming with lots of texture in the details.
