Our Story
My wife Carrie and I met online in 2009 through an online fan club for the video game World of Warcraft. Across thousands of miles--her in Alaska and me in Texas--we developed a long distance friendship that became very strong. We traveled across the United States and abroad together over the years before Carrie decided to move to Texas, allowing our friendship to naturally bloom into something more. We were legally married in the courthouse in January before having our true celebration with family and friends in November. Themed "My Moon and Stars," our guests helped light up the night at AvantGarden, a historic venue in Houston's "Gayborhood."
