Our Story
We met in December of 2019, Mr. Smooth definitely got my attention by telling me, “People tell me I look like Captain America". Despite what he tells people I had my shield tattoo way before him. Who knew that it would later lead me to the man I was going to marry. We just hit it off, as bad as the pandemic was, I am grateful that I spent it with Alex. It brought us so much closer. It sped things up for us, we had to change our jobs and lives at the same time. I wouldn't have wanted that with anyone else. Knowing we could make it through that together shows us we can make it through anything. The most important thing for us on our wedding day was being able to be with our family. Alex was in the Marine Corps, he got out December 2019 then COVID happened. He hadn't been able to see his family for years, so our ideal wedding was to have a family reunion-style wedding. Everyone got to stay together for 5 days. Our venue had 19 cabins to have all of our family and closest friends together. Our rehearsal dinner included an afternoon of floating the Guadalupe River. On the big day, we had so many great vendors! Our photographers were amazing, our photobooth vendor matched our guests’ crazy energy, our bartender kept up with the party, and our DJ didn’t only play amazing songs to keep the dance floor packed all night, but we had an after-party which he stayed, and included karaoke! Our wedding day was an absolute dream, multiple things didn't go as planned but we wouldn't have it any other way.
