Our Story
John and I planned an intimate, eclectic 70-guest wedding at the Garey House in Georgetown, Texas. From start to finish, the day was filled with so much love, beginning with the generous hands of our friends and family unpacking each personal decor item with care. With a passion for being hands-on with custom design elements, I hand-selected one-of-a-kind details for our garden party-inspired outdoor reception in the Garey House courtyard. The tables were set with menu cards adorned with dried flowers we pressed by hand. Each piece of colorful vintage glassware was personally selected by me, and then gifted to our guests as end-of-the-night favors. The bespoke aesthetic was made complete by the unique lounge sets I curated using vintage furniture. The romantic ceremony faced the water, highlighting the beautiful outdoor landscape at Garey House. A solo violinist from Sienna Strings made for the perfect background to our tender processional ceremony. The pressed floral cake and desserts, along with personally designed fabric script signage, added to the romantic garden party theme. I opted to create faux arrangements for most of our floral needs but left personal florals like my bouquet and welcome table arrangements to the pros at Stems using their a la carte service. Rain was in the forecast all day, with the radar showing the storm hitting Georgetown mid-outdoor reception. We pushed forward with an outdoor evening, planning to move guests inside when the downpour hit. At the last minute, the storm changed course and the evening ended with us dancing under the twinkling festoon lights. It was truly a magical day, filled with love, laughter, and unexpected moments that made it uniquely ours.
