Why should I attend the We Do Weddings Expo?

You'll also be able to see samples of table designs and invitations and get new ideas to make your wedding special. Save time and money! Eliminate playing phone tag or back-and-forth texts when trying to get an appointment with a wedding vendor. How much are tickets to the We Do Weddings Expo?

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at the door. Free ticket promo codes must be used online and by 11:45 PM the night prior to the show and may not be redeemed at the door.

How can the We Do Weddings Expo save me money?

Aside from everyone being under one roof and not having to drive all around town to meet with vendors, the We Do Weddings Expo has many ways to help you save money on your wedding.

Bridal Bucks

Every couple gets $500 in Bridal Bucks when they enter the door. Many of our vendors will accept these Bridal Bucks towards their packages for your wedding. Just look for the "Bridal Bucks Accepted Here" sign and ask that vendor how you could save. Bridal Bucks are valid for 30 days after the show. Click here to learn more.

Cash for Contracts

If you sign a contract at the We Do Weddings Expo, you might be one of the lucky couples who gets part of that contract paid BY US! How? Simply bring a copy of the contract or receipt to the Texas Wedding Guide booth anytime during the day. Those lucky brides whose names we draw will have 10% of their contract (up to $250) paid for by the We Do Weddings Expo. Click here to learn more .

Where do I park?

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions have plenty of FREE parking! If you are just coming for our show, we suggest parking in the convention area. However, we encourage you to stay for the weekend and experience everything Kalahari has to offer. If you do that, you'll probably want to park in the main lot.

Are children allowed?

Yes, children 12 and under are free. Strollers are not provided.

Is the We Do Weddings Expo handicap accessible?

Yes, the exhibit floor of the show is handicap-accessible. Wheelchairs are not provided or available.

Is the We Do Weddings Expo just for brides or can I bring someone with me?

The show is open to the general public and all are welcome! You should definitely consider bringing someone with you to the show. You may want to consider bringing your significant other, your parents, their parents, your wedding party, siblings and other family members are welcome! So bring your tribe! Couples will be given "I'm getting married!" stickers, making it a fun event for you the "celebrities" at our show.

Also welcome are corporate event planners who will find all the elements they need to orchestrate company functions or gala events, and many families planning quinceañeras also come to the We Do Weddings Expo.

How should I prepare to attend?

Do your research and make a checklist of the most important vendors you need to complete your wedding plans. Review the Exhibitors list to know who you definitely want to talk too. Look at the Bridal Bucks offers to see if there are any you are interested in. Learn about Cash for Contracts for your chance to have us pay for part of your wedding. Download the Texas Weddings App to be able to use ProScan onsite at the show (and for all your planning before and after the show).

Do I need to be present to win the Grand Prize?

Yes! The Grand Prize drawing will happen at 4:00 p.m. You must be present at the stage to win and yell loudly if your name is called! To be eligible, make sure you check in before 3:30 p.m.—that’s the cut-off so we can get the list ready. If the bride is unable to be present for grand prizes, a family member may claim the prize in her name.

Is there a fashion show?

Yes! We will have a fashion show at the We Do Weddings Expo. Click here for a schedule of the Fashion shows and a full list of participating vendors.

What should I wear?

We suggest cute but comfy. Let's be honest, you will probably be taking some pictures that day, whether they are selfies or in a photo booth, so you'll want to look cute. But you'll be doing a lot of walking and standing, so comfortable shoes are a must.

Is it wise to book a vendor at the show?

Come prepared to make decisions.
Whether your wedding date is just around the corner or a couple of years away the We Do Weddings Expo is a big shopping area, everything is "bookable" and "buyable".
Couples with very popular wedding dates, such as those in the spring or fall months, will need to make quick decisions and commitments in order to secure their preferred wedding professionals.
Deposits and contract signings are encouraged at the We Do Weddings Expo. If you do sign a contract, be sure you enter your contract in our Cash for Contracts drawing.
Our best advice? If you are not prepared to make a deposit, at least plan to make a definite appointment at the show to meet with your favorite vendors.
The top vendors calendars fill up quickly—don't procrastinate, or you may end up with your second or third choices.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Many of our exhibitors provide delicious samples of their products at the show. There will also be a bar available in the hall. If you are looking for a full meal, we suggest going to one of Kalahari's many onsite restaurants. And then come back by 4PM for the Grand Prize drawing.

This is your wedding. Come with an open mind to the many new ideas that can help make it a truly unique event.
