Our Story
Cole and I met in 2017 at a cheer competition in San Antonio. I had been coaching at these competitions for a few years and I had never seen him before. I remember checking my team in for warmup and thinking to myself “Who is this guy?”. My best friend (Arianna Foster) and I instantly thought he was cute and she encouraged me to talk to him. Of course, I was too shy and I didn't talk to him. Fast forward to the next cheer competition, the mystery boy was there again. This time I was smitten because He was just the most handsome man I had ever met. His smile was captivating and his eyes were the bluest eyes I had ever seen in my life. This time Ari said “You have to talk to him” and yet again, I did not. I simply just smiled and waved. We had made eye contact a few times but still didn’t say hello to each other. Finally, at the next competition, Ari wasn’t able to make it and I was forced to talk to him myself. I was extremely sick and my phone was dying and he offered to play the music, I just had to” text it to him”. At this point, he was my knight in shining armor but I did think to myself “that was very smooth of him” I instantly texted him, thanked him, and went back to work. What I wasn’t prepared for was the constant communication we would have afterward. A few weeks later, we met up for our first date and we have been inseparable ever since. He was charming and thoughtful, I never thought he would fall in love with me. Five years later we are married and loving each other unconditionally. We truly love and challenge each other to be the best that we can possibly be. I only hope that others can experience the exhilarating feeling of truly finding their soulmate. Love each other unconditionally and respect each other above all.
