Our Story

Hi there, we are The Evans! We absolutely loved our wedding and getting married. We waited 7 years to get engaged so this day was highly anticipated. It was full of fun little surprises-a fabulous venue, Fredericksburg Trolleys, beer burros, an electric violinist, fried mac 'n cheese, pizza, and of course plenty of booze! We love to have fun and we aren’t too serious - our wedding was very “us”! We met in Lubbock, TX when Ryan was still attending Texas Tech University. Our matron-of-honor, Brittany Renner, had me travel with her to Lubbock to visit her then-boyfriend (now husband and Best Man Matt Renner!). Matt had Ryan over at his house and we immediately hit it off. I remember thinking that night and telling the girls that I had just met my husband-I was right! It's been such a fun journey throughout the years. We endured a long-distance relationship while I finished up veterinary school at Texas A&M and Ryan got his career started in Houston. We've truly grown up together and I've been so thankful to have this relationship through it all. We just recently bought a house in New Braunfels, TX and both have careers here. I am currently working as a veterinarian in Wimberley, TX and Ryan is a branch manager for Lake Management Services. We are finally feeling settled and are blessed to continue to experience this journey as husband and wife. If you are a newly engaged couple-congrats and take it all!
