Our Story
Have you ever heard of the invisible string theory? That’s how our story begins, we first met in 2013 when my high school best friend moved back to town. I had heard her talk about her brother but we had never met before nor had her talking about him crossed my mind, though now, I think about it all the time, how she was always talking about my soul mate. Over the next few years, we’d see each other & spend time together when I would hang out at his sister’s but I never realized he was flirting with me, to me, he was just my best friend’s little brother. We finally started dating in 2015 & I knew then that he was my soulmate, I had never felt love like the love he showed me, nearly immediately we found ourselves pregnant & we separated, growing up had to happen but the love never faded, just differences kept us apart. Fast forward to 2020 shortly before the pandemic, we decided on a whim to move from Oregon to Texas, while co-parenting & it didn’t take but 3 days after the long haul here to know we wanted to be together. At the beginning of 2023, we decided on a courthouse wedding knowing we wanted to have a wedding & party with our family & friends later in the year & it was the most incredibly beautiful day. There has been even more learning & growth since 2020 but the marriage we have is one for the books, they say fairy tales don’t exist but I am convinced that when two people want to be together, they create their own perfect fairy tale.
