Our Story
It all began for us over 13 years ago. Sarah and I met in a way that I always thought was kind of crazy. Through Facebook. She slipped into my DM's to say hi and we became friends.... flirty friends. Neither one of us expected to fall in love and have a relationship. I have never had a relationship that lasted more than 3 years and was at a pretty dark period in my life. We met in person by accident when we ran into each other at a nightclub. We danced a little and went our separate ways. We continued to chat and talk on the phone and our friendship grew. One night I was DJ-ing at a club and she came by with some friends. This is when my life changed for the better. Sarah poked her head into my DJ booth and with the most beautiful smile I had ever seen, she said "heyyyy". I melted inside and still today I get butterflies thinking of that moment when she smiled at me. I didn't want to admit it but that was the exact moment when I knew it was all over for me. I was captivated by her. We began to date and had the best time laughing and sharing stories. At times we tried to walk away from each other but we kept getting drawn back into each other until I got very sick for a second time. I had to accept who I truly was and we both had admitted that we loved each other while I was hospitalized in PA visiting family. That is when we made a commitment to each other and decided to be in a committed relationship. I met her kids when I returned to Texas and we became the super-couple she once said we could be. Eventually, we moved in together and set some goals. In 2016, I proposed and she said YES! Both kids became independent with one getting married and giving us two grandsons and for the past 13 years, our love has been the most beautiful experience of our lives. Sarah and I had such a beautiful wedding on 11.12.22 and we could not be happier.
