What is your best planning advice or tip for couples?

Take your time! Don’t rush booking your vendors or venue, try and view as many options as possible so you can ensure you get the best of the best!

What made you get into the wedding & events industry? How many years have you been in it?

I knew the wedding & events industry was for me when I worked my first wedding as an events manager in Corpus Christi, TX. This particular wedding was beautifully put together, the venue oversaw the bay area, and while I was working this event, I was able to witness such a special time in this newly wed couple’s lives and ensure everything went smoothly for them, that it sparked a passion in me to be a part of this industry. I’ve now been in the industry for over 7 years.

Are you a foodie? What’s your go-to dish?

I love experiencing new foods and try to eat at a different restaurant I’ve never been to each time when my husband and I go out for date night. My go-to dishes would be shrimp & crawfish etouffee over red beans & rice or Jamaican jerk chicken over coconut rice & peas with fried plantains.
