What inspired you to start this company?

Being a wedding and portrait photographer for roughly 20 years, Boudoir photography has kind of been a part of the game for so long. Off and on, the client would pull me aside and whisper and giggle, asking ” is this something you can do?” I’d laugh and affirm that I do. We’d keep things secret, and tip toe around the idea until the final reveal came into play. Now, I think it’s much less taboo and secretive. I’m openly asked for all kinds of portrait services. Why not openly offer it??

What sets your company apart from similar ones in the same field?

I’m a full time wedding photographer. If interested, I can be your shooter all along the way. Understanding your interests allows me a unique perspective into why you want boudoir photos and what style you’re looking for. Bright/ Flashy, Noir/shadows/ secretive, playful and excited, or all three in one session using different outfits and lighting, everything is personalized.

Are you a foodie? What’s your go-to dish?

I am, but I’m also boring. Mustard seeds next to an olive and smoke around the bowl, not for me. A dripping, messy, toasted sandwich with a 2 hour drive, I’m okay with that.

What was your favorite vacation ever?

2 weeks in Italy takes the cake. Most of the main attractions and hotspots were covered. But Florence was easily the champion. I could have spent the whole trip there and not thought twice about it.

What is your best planning advice or tip for couples?

Start off with the big stuff and work your way down. Date and Venue, Venue and Date….. get that squared away. Planners will take the load off much more than you think. make every lunch or dinner outing a potential catering discussion. Ensure you are both on the same page about any sensitive topics. No need for surprises when there shouldn’t be….
