At Expose the Heart, we provide timeless photography for modern couples. As a husband-and-wife team with over 25 years of combined experience, we specialize in lifestyle photography that captures genuine moments and authentic emotion. With more than a decade in the wedding industry, photography isn’t just a side gig for us, it’s our full-time passion and profession.
What sets your company apart from similar ones in the same field?
With over 20 years of experience photographing weddings, I bring a calm and steady presence to wedding days. I focus on truly getting to know my couples so their photos reflect who they are, not a trend or formula. Being based in San Antonio, I’m very familiar with local venues, lighting conditions, and timelines, which helps days flow smoothly. I also still shoot film by request for couples who value a timeless, hands-on approach.

What services do you provide?
I’m a San Antonio wedding photographer specializing in weddings, elopements, and intimate celebrations throughout San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. I also offer engagement sessions, bridal sessions, and milestone portraits. Beyond weddings, I photograph families, seniors, maternity, newborns, and branding sessions for small businesses. My goal is to build long-term relationships with my clients so I can document their story through many seasons of life.

What is your favorite wedding tradition and why?
My favorite wedding tradition is the cake cutting and what it symbolizes. It represents the couple’s first act of service to one another, a simple but meaningful gesture that reflects care, partnership, and the start of their life together. As a wedding photographer, I love capturing that moment because it’s joyful, symbolic, and often filled with laughter, making it a beautiful reflection of a couple’s relationship.

What is your favorite wedding trend right now and why?
One of my favorite wedding trends right now is couples creating days that feel more intentional and true to who they are. I’m seeing more couples in San Antonio and throughout Texas focus on meaningful moments, thoughtful timelines, and genuine connection rather than trying to do everything at once. When couples slow down and prioritize what matters most, the day feels more relaxed, and the photographs reflect that authenticity.

Why do you love this company and your job?
I love this company and my work because it allows me to preserve moments that will only become more meaningful with time. As a San Antonio wedding photographer, I get to document not just a wedding day, but the beginning of a family’s story. It’s an honor to be trusted with such personal moments and to create images that couples will return to for years, and even generations, to come. Knowing my work becomes part of a family’s history is what makes this job so fulfilling.
