This week we sat down with owner Robert Lowman to talk about why he started his company, wedding trends and hilarious wedding day stories!

What inspired you to start this company?

I already owned the Bridal Extravaganza and the Wedding Guide Magazine so it was a natural next step for us. At the time, there weren’t a lot of venues in our area that had the aesthetics of the hill country but were close to town. We also wanted to expand our clientele to host more corporate events.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen happen at a wedding?

One wedding we had a bride attach a Go-Pro to her head and ran around to get candid video!

What is your favorite wedding trend right now and why?

Photo Dashes are SO fun right now! We also like the anti-trends(no cake, no garter tosses, etc.) Couples are making their weddings unique.

What is your best planning advice or tip for couples?

Set proper boundaries with those around you. Always remember that it is about you two, not everyone else.
