We recently visited with Raul, owner of Raul’s Photography & Videography and he shared with us how they’ve been capturing couples since 1999 in the San Antonio area for engagement photos, bridal shoots, and wedding day photography. This husband-and-wife team has a personalized approach that leaves couples raving about their photos and service! If you know this couple, you’ll know how much they love to travel. Raul gave us his insight into vacationing, his favorite dish; plus his planning advice and tips for couples too.

What was your favorite vacation ever?

I have so many favorite vacations but our trip to Oregon this year was really good, one of the most beautiful locations in the USA. The little towns along the coastline were so quiet and peaceful. Also in the summer the sunset was at 10 pm so I loved the long days.

What other cities or locations have you worked weddings in?

We have photographed in San Miguel Allende, Las Vegas, and all over Texas. My favorite by far is San Miguel Allende.

What is your best planning advice or tip for couples?

Watch a lot of YouTube videos on the locations you’re going to go to. They help a lot with hotel recommendations and food!

What is your favorite part of your work week and why?

For sure Saturday because that is the most popular day for weddings! Friday is a close second since every Friday my family and I have a tradition of eating dinner at a nice place in town. It helps to bond together and talk about everything that happened that week.

Are you a foodie? What’s your go-to dish?

Yes, I’m a huge foodie since I love to travel. My go-to dish is seafood! Preferably crab legs! Yum!!!!
