Hello everyone, I’m thrilled to begin sharing my planning journey with all of you! In this blog, I’ll dive into my venue selection, consultant choice, and my Photographer. Picking out these first few things was just so fun and made everything genuinely seem real. I’m eager for you all to join me in this exciting planning process.
My First step was finding my venue
Searching for the perfect wedding venue is like embarking on a romantic treasure hunt. It’s an adventure filled with excitement and anticipation, where every corner you turn reveals a new possibility. It’s a journey of exploration, where each venue visited is like trying on a different glass slipper, searching for the one that fits just right. And when you finally find it, it’s like stumbling upon a hidden garden of enchantment, where you can envision your love story unfolding amidst the beauty and charm.
The first time I saw pictures of Thistlewood Manor & Gardens I knew I wanted to go see it in person, and the first time I saw it in person I knew that it was that glass slipper that fits just right. It had all the things I was looking for in a venue. It was very elegant and had both beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. It had the nature and greenery I was looking for. The space for an Intimate wedding. And the owners are such amazing people.
For my wedding day, my fiancé and I are going to do our private first looks and vows in their garden area. This is something that I just can’t wait for because I love everything about nature, so having such an important moment on our wedding day surrounded by it is remarkable. Then I am planning on having the ceremony in the back of the manor right in front of their Breathtaking fountain. This will give us a beautiful backdrop for our friends and family while they watch the ceremony and for me and my fiancé to have lovely photos for years and years in the future. After our ceremony we will beagle to walk down their grand staircase to greet all of our guests and get ready for the rest of the night. During our reception you will see me on their dance floor that is in the middle of the manor, walking around talking to all my guests, and outside playing family yard games.

My Next step was securing a photographer
In our app and website, we showcase a diverse array of exceptionally talented photographers. With their varied skills and styles, selecting the right photographer was very challenging for me. Especially with the fact that I know all of our photographers, and they are all such amazing people. However, the decision became clearer when my dad expressed his admiration for Mantra’s style and urged me to consider him. As soon as I looked into his Style and photos I knew he was the photographer for us.

The next vendor I wanted to acquire was my consultant.
I knew I wanted to hire a consultant for my wedding because they bring extensive knowledge and experience to the table. They understand the ins and outs of the wedding industry, including trends, vendors, and logistical considerations. Their expertise can help you navigate the planning process more efficiently and effectively. I also know that I have an extremely busy schedule so I wanted to have someone that would be available to talk to all of my other vendors when I couldn’t. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but having a wedding consultant by my side can help take away some of that stress.
