From massive tents to incredible lounge furniture, Premiere Events does it all when it comes to rental items for your wedding.
We recently spoke with Delores Crum, the owner of Premiere Events about why she started her company, why it’s special, and her favorite client story.
What services do you provide?
Premiere Events is a full-service wedding and event rental company providing everything you need to celebrate any occasion or to execute any event. From the tent overhead to the dance floor underfoot, and everything in between, Premiere Events has it all. We offer rental selections at all points along the budgetary spectrum, options that help express a variety of themes and inspired choices that suit any style. Premiere’s talented Event Consulting team can provide expert suggestions and helpful recommendations, complete a CAD layout to help maximize your event space and offer the benefit of our combined 100+ years of event rental experience.
What inspired you to start this company?
Owning an event rental company sounded like fun – and it has been! A lot of hard work and dedication is required as well, of course, but at its core, Premiere is, next to Disney of course, the happiest place “on earth”. What we didn’t know when we started Premiere is that owning an event rental company provides an almost unlimited capacity to do good. Premiere is supportive of the events community, of our “public servants” and true-life heroes, and of the not-for-profit organizations focused on children’s and women’s causes.
What sets your company apart from similar ones in the same field?
There’s only one thing that sets one rental company apart from the others, and that’s service. Premiere is customer-focused and service driven. We say we have the best service in the events rental industry and set out to prove that claim each and every day. Our event professional customers recognize that we’ll go the extra mile for them, and regard us as “partners”, not just vendors. The event holders we serve compliment our kindness and caring, our commitment, and our capability. Our organizational culture is grounded in the six pillars of character and our team treats one another, and all of our customers, with dignity and respect. We’re programmed to do the right thing!
What is your favorite part of your workweek and why?
I work every day, so my workweek never ends. Unless we’re traveling, which we do often, but not often enough, I’m either working or writing. I’m a published author, having one book in print and another ready for the publishing process. My favorite part of the week is the day, usually Sunday, that I devote to my “writing”, whether it’s writing for Premiere or for pleasure.
What is one favorite client story and why?
It’s been a long time since I’ve been on the front lines, so I’d have to reach into the archives for one favorite story. My most rewarding “client story” is the satisfied customer who takes the time to craft a 5-Star Premiere review praising our team and expressing gratitude for a job well done. That, and the event professionals who consistently chose to meet their rental needs through Premiere. Everyone, individual event holder and event professional alike, has choices. And we’re so grateful for the clients and customers who chose Premiere.
