What services do you provide?

What inspired you to start this company?
In the Summer of 2021, we met with a bride who asked about mapping her cake at her wedding. We recently took part in a Disney presentation where they showed their cake mapping and Disney experience. We did some research and learned we had the hardware needed. We were also familiar with digital signage and some mapping tools as we were providing mapped signage that included photos across four 32″ screens above our lighting system. Although similar, the footprint and design options for cake mapping were extremely different and an exciting challenge. We delivered the request with success and launched our first of many mapping services in January 2022. Since the launch of Cake Mapping, we have continued to develop, evolve, and better every part of what we offer both in front and behind the scenes. Although cake mapping is familiar to some, our Signature Styrofoam Alternative Cake, Signature Floating Canvas Wall, Signature Floating Canvas Collages, Signature Mon-Art, Custom Framed Portrait Mon-Art, Custom Framed Kademeli Mon-Art and Milieu Mon-Art is not familiar or done by anyone else. What is one favorite client story and why?
In May of 2023, we provided our cake mapping services for a High School Prom. We used some school color themes and our client shared over 110 graduation photos we incorporated along with some related animation. You can view the video on our Pinterest site. Although there were many things to capture the student’s attention at the Prom, our cake mapping feature attracted students and many took time to watch the whole presentation–then watch again to point out their photos and classmate’s photos to others. Several students stood there for minutes mesmerized as we were not sure how they would react or interact with the mapped cake. We watched from a distance and were amazed to witness their experience and excitement to see their pictures on the cake. It was unexpected and showed how this feature can hold its own in a room filled with other interactive features.
What sets your company apart from similar ones in the same field?
Many companies who offer mapping services offer expensive large-scale expensive options that could range around $10,000.00 a minute. The animation packages similar to what is seen at Disney and in Vegas require illustrators, animators, and a price tag that begins at about $7,000.00. Those who specifically offer cake mapping focus on animation and less on personalization. Those who have seen our services in person express that they have never seen anything like it. We have many mapping options that allow for personalization and simple animation too. We are asked how big we can go, yet most choose the smaller footprint and affordable cost. As nice as it is to go big, keeping it simple and classy works too.
Why do you love this company and your job?
First, we get to a chance to learn about you and your story. We get access to keepsake pictures and videos that in some cases, have not been seen in years, if not decades. We take what is shared and through our creative nature and use of digital tools, show and tell your story. Some images tell a story, some need a little help, and some need other images to enhance a moment. We can bring it all together. Second, seeing the production and the result is exciting. Watching you, your family, and your friends watch, react, reflect, and emotionally engage personally or socially during the presentation or afterward with others is joyful and often difficult to express with words.
