Bridal Extravaganza
On January 8th & 9th couples flooded into the Palmer Event Center for the biggest wedding event of the season – the Bridal Extravaganza. This one-of-a-kind wedding show is known for its vendor variety, drool-worthy door prizes and incredible wedding deals and savings.
Grooms and brides and their wedding posse’s walked down the aisles meeting DJ’s, florists, photographers, wedding venues and many more wedding professionals. Couples walked away with contracts in hand of hired professionals and were off to a dynamic start to their wedding planning.

Winter Open House
The beautiful Texas Hill Country wedding venue, Moon Shadow Haven, opened it’s doors for a Winter Open House on January 23rd. Joining the representatives from the venue was wedding planners, photographers, caterers and more event professionals all chosen to make your wedding smooth and beautiful.
Engaged couples not only enjoyed drinks and nosh, them got a tour of the venue’s relaxing grounds and beautiful wedding lodge venue, picturesque chapel, and nearby cabins.

On January 29th engaged couples came together, this time online, for a different type of event – a home buying webinar!
For many couples, getting engaged means buying a new home. Couples may need to upgrade or combine households.
Cristina Murphey, a first time home buyer specialist in the Austin area for the last 13 years, discussed the process of home buying, things to consider when purchasing a home and tips to quality for a mortgage.
She answered questions and guided these couple to prepare making a big investment into their futures!

Sweater Weather Get-Together
The Texas Old Town team met with newly engaged couples on January 9th for their Sweater Weather Get-Together.
During the Open House event all four of the Texas Old Town wedding venues were open and available to view. Guests were given warming mugs of hot cocoa as they strolled the grounds and envisioned their weddings.
Staff was on hand to answer questions and discuss more about their awesome wedding packages with couples.
