Why do you love this company and your job?
I started this company as a way to express my creativity and provide delectable food and memories in a unique way to others. What started as a small vision of fun events turned into such a rewarding small business providing unique and fun food/experiences to so many people. I truly enjoy being able to create such different and personalized charcuterie boards and graze tables that are talked about long after the event has ended. I think there is something so beautiful about weddings. From small courthouse ceremonies with a party to follow to massive 3 day event weddings, taking that step to commit to someone else forever is magical. The best part of my job is when the party ends and the couple looks back at the event and says “Best day ever!” I love getting emails and messages from my couples that express how much they enjoyed the fulfilling and deliciously fresh food.
What other cities or locations have you worked weddings in?
I really enjoy what I do, being veteran owned and operated I have traveled to a wide array of locations. I have been able to create gorgeous spreads in Palmer, Alaska as well as multiple locations in Florida, California, Arkansas, and Las Vegas. I love that in each of those weddings, with as different as they were, I was able to provide unique foods on their tables fresh from Local farms and vendors.
What is your favorite part of your work week and why?
Client communication time! Whether I am wrapping up an event and following up with the couple/client or speaking with potential clients, I love when I have down time to connect. When providing unique services like I do it is important for me to know my clients. I make it a point to be available for my clients when they have questions, issues, or concerns and to make them feel comfortable. This is an important part of the process as you are trusting me on one of the most important moments in your life. At the start of the process, when I connect with potential new clients, I find it valuable to know my client/clients on a personal level. What do they like? What is their style? What do they want to see and who are they as a person and as a couple? I find that connecting with my clients allows me to really hit the mark when creating for their special event and makes my client feel secure in that they will have a magical and memorable service from us. My job does not end when the event starts or even right after it is over, my job ends when I circle back around to my clients a week later and listen to feelings of marital bliss and magical memories. I strive to make each client feel special and important from start to finish and truly enjoy when my clients report back that I achieved that goal.
