Choosing the perfect wedding venue doesn’t have to be a struggle!
We recently spoke with Justine Thompson with La Bonne Vie Ranch on her best planning advice for couples, the story behind the wedding venue and what makes wedding days at La Bonne Vie Ranch special.
What sets your company apart from similar ones in the same field?
Our venue is different from other venues for a few reasons. We are a family owned and operated venue, so we take pride in getting to know our clients and their families in order to make their wedding day perfect. Our venue also offers onsite lodging and weekend packaging to make our clients wedding a weekend event to remember. We also offer onsite rentals, full set ups and multiple sites on property for rehearsal dinners, ceremony set ups and brunches.
What is your best planning advice or tip for couples?
My best planning advise would be to look for vendors that offer the most comprehensive bang for your buck with quality packages. Taking the time to meet and understand packages vendors offer is key to not only save money but find the right vendors for your wedding.
What is your favorite part of your work week and why?
Wedding days are my favorite part of the work week because we are finally able to put together all the pieces that our clients and all their vendors have worked for months to out together. Seeing their vision for their wedding come to life and being apart of our clients new beginning is incredibly rewarding!
What inspired you to start this company?
Our family moved to the Hill Country to start something new and different in the wedding venue world. We wanted to create beautiful spaces that offered multiple opportunities for different types of events to be held all onsite with guest accommodations being key. Our success has come from trial and error and listening to our clients and vendors to create the spaces people will love and remember for the rest of their lives.
What is your favorite wedding tradition and why?
My favorite wedding tradition is the exchanging of the vows. I love hearing the sweet, heartfelt words our clients share with each other as they are beginning their new journey as a married couple. Followed by a new tradition of ringing the bell in our chapel, it is truly a special moment.
